Paramedic Scholarship Awarded

We would like to congratulate Alex Rich as our newest RSP scholarship recipient. Following in his mother’s footsteps, who serves as a firefighter in Youngstown, Alex began his career in the fire service in 2022 at the age of 15 1/2 with the Weathersfield Fire Department. He attended TCTC, where he obtained certifications in Firefighter I, Firefighter II, and EMT. In the fall, he will further his education by attending paramedic school. In addition to his service with the Weathersfield Fire Department, Alex is also a firefighter with the Howland Fire Department. Alex is a highly motivated individual, dedicated to advancing his career and serving his local community. Congratulations, Alex, and best of luck in your future endeavors.
